Nahid is a PhD aspirant with a background in medicine and public health, and hands-on experience across clinical care, public health research, and humanitarian health programs. Her work centers on non-communicable diseases and health systems, using research, data analysis, and community-based interventions to reach vulnerable and underserved populations — from postmenopausal women in rural Bangladesh to displaced families in the Rohingya camps of Cox’s Bazar.
She is driven by a simple conviction: that meaningful research, carried out close to the communities it serves, is one of the most direct ways to improve health outcomes for people the health system too often overlooks.
